About Word to PDF
A Word document can look different on someone else's computer. Turning it into a PDF fixes the layout so everyone sees the same pages. This tool lets you convert Word to PDF online for free. It keeps your page size, margins, fonts, headings, lists, tables, pictures, headers and footers.
The text in the PDF is real text, so it stays selectable and searchable rather than becoming a picture of the page. Common fonts such as Calibri, Cambria, Arial and Times are drawn with matching open fonts of the same size, and page breaks follow the ones saved in your document. Unusual fonts are swapped for similar ones.
It suits job seekers, students and anyone sending a final copy. Picture someone applying for a job whose portal only takes PDFs. He drops his CV in .docx format on the page, checks the preview, and clicks Convert to PDF. The conversion happens in your browser, and the file is never uploaded.
How to use Word to PDF
- Drop a .docx file on the page or click Choose file.
- Check the preview. It shows the pages as your document laid them out.
- The page size and margins are taken from your document, so there is nothing to set.
- Click Convert to PDF. Each page is written with selectable text.
- Download the PDF to your device, or click New file to convert another.

Not yet. Save the file as .docx first, then convert it.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, and your document stays on your device.
