CHAPTER 01

A rebranding agency that protects what you have built

An established business already has something a new one does not: customers who recognise it. That recognition is valuable, and careless rebrands throw it away. As a rebranding agency, Omebly modernises established businesses while keeping the parts of the brand people already know and trust, then plans how every sign, screen and document switches over.

01.1

When a rebrand makes sense

Businesses come to us when their brand looks dated next to newer competitors, when they have grown into new services or markets, or after a merger or name change. Every project starts with an audit of the current brand and ends with a roadmap for the roll-out, not just a new logo. Rebranding is part of Omebly’s brand building service.

CHAPTER 02

What’s included in a rebrand

A brand equity and legacy visual audit. We collect every version of your brand in use: logos, signage, website, app, packaging, documents and social profiles. We gather input from customers and staff and review your reviews and competitors. The audit separates the elements people recognise and value from the ones that are dated, inconsistent or confusing.

02.1

The right depth of change

Not every business needs a full rebrand. From the audit, we recommend one of three levels: a refresh that tidies and modernises the current identity, an evolution that keeps the core idea but rebuilds the system, or a full rebrand with new positioning and visuals. You decide with the evidence in front of you.

02.2

Updated positioning

If the business has changed, the brand story should too. We revisit your promise, audiences and personality, drawing on the same methods as our brand strategy service.

02.3

A modern visual identity

The new logo system, colours and typography, designed for today’s screens: responsive logo versions, app icons, dark mode and social profiles. Depending on your audience, the look may move towards a clean flat style or a layered glassmorphic style, always grounded in the elements worth keeping.

02.4

Before-and-after mock-ups

We show the new identity on your real touchpoints, such as your website header, shopfront, vehicles, uniforms and invoices, so you can judge it in context.

02.5

A touchpoint migration roadmap

A list of every place the brand appears, grouped by priority, cost and owner, with a suggested order for switching over.

02.6

Updated guidelines and launch assets

New brand rules, plus announcement posts, an email header and a short explanation for customers and staff.

CHAPTER 03

How we approach rebranding

Evolution beats revolution for most businesses. Customers find you by colour, shape and name long before they read anything. A sudden, complete change can make loyal customers wonder whether you are still the same company. Where the audit shows strong recognition, we evolve the brand so it feels fresh but familiar.

03.1

Change what is broken, not what is merely old

Some old elements are assets, such as a distinctive colour or a well-known symbol. Others hold the brand back, such as a logo that cannot work as an app icon. We judge each element on its own merits.

03.2

Design for today’s touchpoints

Many older logos were designed for print and signage. Modern brands also live in browser tabs, app icons, profile images and dark-mode screens. We test the new system at every size and on every background.

03.3

Plan the switch-over before launch

The most visible failure in a rebrand is a long period with old and new versions side by side. The roadmap sets out what changes on launch day, mostly digital, and what follows in stages, mostly print and physical items, so the transition is quick and deliberate.

03.4

Bring people with you

Staff should hear about the rebrand before customers do. We provide a short internal briefing alongside the external announcement, explaining what changed, why, and what stays the same.

03.5

Name changes need extra care

If the rebrand includes a new name, there are legal, domain and listing steps. Trademark checks stay with your trademark professional, and we include domain redirects and business profile updates in the roadmap.

CHAPTER 04

Timelines and what affects cost

Your fixed written quote sets the timeline after the free consultation. The biggest factors are:

  • Depth of change: refresh, evolution or full rebrand.
  • Number of touchpoints, from a few digital profiles to branches, vehicles and packaging ranges.
  • Research scope: how many customers and staff we hear from.
  • Name change, which adds naming work and more roll-out steps.
  • Sub-brands and product linesthat need to move together.
04.1

Physical items

Physical items such as signage, vehicle wraps and printed stock are produced by your suppliers and paid for separately, so the roadmap also helps you budget for them and use up existing stock sensibly.

04.2

Prices

Starting prices for brand projects are shown on the parent service page.

CHAPTER 05

Why Omebly for your rebrand

Every project is led by our founder, Nazmul Hussain, who has 10+ years building websites, apps and digital products. Because Omebly also designs and builds websites and apps, your digital roll-out can be planned by the same team that designed the identity. You get a fixed written quote within 48 hours, weekly reviews and milestone payments released only after you review each stage. Once fully paid, the identity, guidelines and files we create are yours, and an NDA is available, which matters when a rebrand is confidential until launch. For a new mark on its own, see our logo design service.

FAQ

Rebranding: questions people ask

How do we know whether we need a refresh or a full rebrand?

A refresh keeps your name and main logo idea but modernises the details, colours and type. A full rebrand changes the position, look and sometimes the name. The audit shows which you need: if customers like and recognise your brand but it looks dated, a refresh is often enough. If the brand no longer fits the business, go further.

What is a brand equity audit?

It is a structured look at what your current brand is worth to customers: which colours, symbols, names or phrases they recognise, what they associate with you and what feels out of date. We gather this from customer and staff input, reviews and a review of your materials, so the rebrand keeps real recognition rather than guessing.

Will a rebrand affect our search rankings or online reviews?

A visual rebrand alone does not change your website's search performance. Changing your name or domain needs care: redirects, updated business profiles and consistent listings. Your reviews stay attached to your business profiles if they are renamed rather than recreated. We include these steps in the migration roadmap and coordinate with your web team.

How do we roll out a rebrand without confusing customers?

With a planned switch-over. The migration roadmap lists every touchpoint, from website and app icons to signage, invoices and uniforms, and groups them by priority and cost. Digital items usually switch on launch day, while printed and physical items follow in stages. A short announcement explains the change and what stays the same.

Should we involve our staff in the rebrand?

Yes, early. Staff talk to customers every day and know what they value about the brand. We include them in the audit through a short survey or session, and brief them before launch so they can explain the change confidently. People who understand the reasons are much more likely to use the new brand correctly.

Do you also update our website and app for the rebrand?

We can. Omebly also designs and builds websites and apps, so the rebrand and the digital updates can be planned together. Visual updates to an existing site or app are quoted as part of the roll-out, and larger redesigns go through our web or app development services with their own written quote.
