About AI Summarizer
The AI PDF summarizer turns long reports, papers, contracts and books into a short overview with the key points. It is a free way to summarize a PDF online, with no sign-up, no daily cap and no watermark. Summaries come out in the document's own language, including Hindi and Arabic.
It is useful for students skimming research papers, managers catching up on reports, or anyone who needs the gist of a long file fast. For example, a tenant can summarise a long rental agreement to see the main terms, then check the key dates and amounts against the original.
There are two modes. Quick picks key sentences straight away. AI writes a summary in its own words using an open model (Qwen3) that runs in your browser. The model downloads once, about 575 MB on computers with a modern graphics chip, and is then cached. Your PDF and summary stay on your device. AI can miss or mix up details, so check important facts.
How to use AI Summarizer
- Click Choose file or drop your PDF on the page.
- Pick a mode: Quick for key sentences, or AI for a summary in its own words.
- Choose a length: Short, Medium or Detailed.
- If you only need part of the file, type a page range in the Pages field.
- Press Summarise, then read the result, copy it, or download it as a text file.
Private by design
The AI model runs in your browser. Your PDF and its summary never leave your device.

Example
Input: a 40-page annual report.
You click: mode "AI", length "Short", Pages left empty, then Summarise.
Result: a short overview with the main points appears on the page, ready to copy or download as a text file. You check the figures against the report.
AI Summarizer: questions people ask
Is it safe to summarise private documents?
The AI model runs in your browser, and files are processed on your device and never uploaded.
Is there a file size limit?
There's no set limit. Long PDFs are read in parts and then combined. On phones and older computers, Quick mode is recommended.
Can I trust the summary?
AI can miss or confuse details, so results can contain mistakes. Check important facts, figures and dates against the original.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Scanned PDFs have no readable text. Run OCR PDF first, then summarise the result.
