How much does it cost to develop a game?
A casual mobile or web game starts from $10,000, one-time. Multiplayer games, more levels, 3D art or live features increase the cost. The final price depends on your game design and platforms, and it is fixed in a written quote we send within 48 hours of a free consultation, with milestone payments.
How long does it take to make a mobile game?
It depends on the game's scope: the number of levels, art style, multiplayer and monetisation features. We don't give a fixed timeline before we understand your idea. After the free consultation, your written quote sets the timeline and milestones, and weekly demos let you play each build as it develops.
Which game engines and platforms do you work with?
We mainly build in Unity, and also use Unreal Engine 5 and Blender for 3D. For browser games we use Unity WebGL, Three.js and PlayCanvas. Multiplayer is built with Photon Fusion or Unity Netcode. We prepare games for Google Play, the Apple App Store, Steam and the web, depending on your audience.
Can you add ads and in-app purchases to my game?
Yes. We integrate AdMob and Unity Ads for in-game advertising, and add in-app purchase hooks for items or premium content. We plan monetisation with you early so it fits the gameplay rather than interrupting it. Store accounts, ad network accounts and their fees remain yours.
Will you keep updating my game after launch?
Bugs in code Omebly wrote are fixed free for life under our support policy, with a response within 24 hours for critical issues. New levels, features, content updates and updates for new OS or SDK versions released after delivery are quoted separately, usually as small fixed jobs, so you can keep growing the game.
Do I own the game's source code and art?
Yes. Once the project is fully paid, the source code, game designs and art we created, and the accounts we set up are handed over to you. You can publish, update or sell the game as you wish. Omebly may show it in its portfolio unless you ask us not to; an NDA is available.
Can Omebly develop a game for a studio or business in Dubai?
Yes. Omebly has an office in Downtown Dubai and its development base in Kolkata, India, and works with clients across the UAE and worldwide. Calls are scheduled in your time zone, builds are shared weekly, and international clients pay in milestones by card, PayPal or Wise, with prices in USD.
How do I start a game project with Omebly?
Book a free consultation on WhatsApp at +91 70444 33991, at info@omebly.com or via omebly.com/contact-us/. Share your game idea, target platforms, reference games you like and your budget. Within 48 hours you get a fixed written quote with scope, timeline, milestones and price. NDA available on request.
What does lifetime bug-fix support cover?
If something we built breaks and it does not work as agreed in the signed scope, we fix it free, for as long as Omebly operates. New features, design or content changes, third-party plugins or services, hosting and updates for new OS or browser versions are quoted separately. See our Support Policy.
Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes. We work with clients worldwide and schedule calls in your time zone. Most communication runs on WhatsApp, email and video calls.
How do I pay?
International clients can pay by card, PayPal or Wise. Clients in India can also pay by UPI or bank transfer. Prices are in USD; we confirm the final amount in your currency on the invoice.
How does payment work?
Projects are split into milestones (typically 40% to start, 30% at the design or beta milestone, 30% before launch). You pay for each stage only after you have seen it.
How many revisions do I get?
Each proposal lists the revision rounds for that project, usually 2 rounds per design stage. Small fixes during development do not count as revisions.
Who owns the code and design?
You do. Once the project is fully paid, the source code, designs and accounts we set up are handed over to you. We only keep the right to show the work in our portfolio, and we will not do that if you ask us not to (NDA on request).
