About Crop PDF

Crop PDF lets you trim margins and cut pages down to the part you need. Drag a crop box, type exact margins in millimetres, or press Auto-trim to remove white borders. You can crop all pages, just this page, or a range. It is a free online PDF cropper with no sign-up and no watermark.

It is handy for readers and makers alike: someone trimming wide margins off an e-book to read on a small screen, a student cutting a diagram out of a lecture slide, or a seller tidying a scanned page. For example, a researcher with a paper full of uneven white borders can press Auto-trim, and each page is cropped to its own content.

Pages are not re-rendered, so text and images stay sharp. Note that cropping hides the outside area in viewers and printers, but the content stays in the file. To remove it for good, use Redact PDF. Cropping happens in your browser and your PDF is never uploaded.

FAQ

Crop PDF: questions people ask

Is my file uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser.

Is there a file size limit?

There's no set file size or page limit. Very large files work best on a computer, because your own device does the work.

Does cropping delete the hidden part?

No. The cropped area is hidden in viewers and printers, but the original content stays in the file. Use Redact PDF to remove it for good.

Can I crop pages differently?

Yes. Auto-trim crops each page to its own content, or you can crop one page at a time with "This page".
