About PDF to Word

This tool turns a PDF into a Word document you can edit. Text, headings, bold and italic, font sizes, lists, tables and pictures carry over as flowing paragraphs, not fixed text boxes. Tables become real Word tables, and bullet or numbered lists stay lists. It is a simple way to convert PDF to Word free, with no sign-up and no watermark.

The result will not look exactly like the PDF. Complex layouts, such as several columns or text over images, are simplified. Photos and logos stay where they were, and you can switch pictures off if you only want the text.

It suits anyone who has a PDF but needs to change it. For example, an office manager who only has the PDF of last year's staff handbook can turn it into a .docx, update the holiday policy and save it again. Conversion happens in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.

FAQ

PDF to Word: questions people ask

Will it look exactly like the PDF?

Can it convert scanned PDFs?

Not directly, because scans have no text. Run OCR PDF first. Otherwise, pages are added as pictures.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes. Type a page range in the optional Pages box.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser.
