Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This policy explains how Omebly ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data through omebly.com and when you contact us about our services or courses. The Omebly App has its own privacy policy inside the app and at the Omebly App legal pages.

Who we are

Omebly is a digital services business based in India, owned by Tania Firdus. Contact: info@omebly.com, +91 70444 33991.

What we collect

  • Details you give us: name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, company, project details and messages.
  • Payment details needed to invoice you (payments are processed by the payment provider; we do not store card numbers).
  • Basic technical data when you visit the site: IP address, browser, pages viewed, and cookies (see below).

Why we use it

  • To reply to you, prepare quotes, deliver projects and courses, and send invoices.
  • To keep the site secure and understand which pages are useful.
  • To send updates only if you asked for them; you can stop them at any time.

We process your data on the basis of your consent and to perform the work you asked for, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who we share it with

Only service providers we need to run the business (hosting, email, WhatsApp/Meta, payment providers, analytics, Hugging Face for the AI model downloads and jsDelivr for the optional free fonts, both described below), and authorities when the law requires it. We never sell your data.

Omebly Tools

Files you open in Omebly Tools (PDFs, images and videos) are processed in your browser and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. The AI tools (Background Remover, Photo Enhancer, the AI features of Image Editor and Video Editor, AI Summarizer, Translate PDF and the AI features of Photo Editor Pro) download their AI model files from Hugging Face (huggingface.co); for Background Remover, Photo Enhancer and Image Editor our own server is the backup. The summaries and translations are made on your device too. Like any download, Hugging Face receives your IP address and browser details for that request, but never your files. Photo Editor Pro also has an optional list of free fonts: only when you turn it on, it downloads the fonts you pick from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net), which likewise receives your IP address and browser details for those requests, never your files. Saved palettes, your own filter looks, unfinished PDF and image edits and Video Editor projects (with their files) stay in your browser only. The Video Editor asks for your camera, microphone or screen only when you choose to record, and the recording stays on your device.

Visitor count. Omebly Tools shows how many people have visited and how many are online. To count you once, your browser keeps a small “counted” note, and our server briefly uses your IP address and browser type, scrambled with a key that changes every day and never written down. We store only the total number.

Cookies and tracking

Cookies needed for the site to work are always on. Everything else loads only after you allow it in the cookie banner, and nothing loads if you reject it:

  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (Google), to see which pages are visited. Runs with Google Consent Mode, which stays denied until you allow it.
  • Marketing: Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn Insight Tag, to measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested.

We only use the trackers listed here. They may record the pages you view, when you tap WhatsApp, email or phone links, and when you send the contact form. Your choice is saved in your browser. You can change it or withdraw it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; withdrawing takes effect straight away. You can also block cookies in your browser, or use each company's own opt-out settings. Fonts or embeds from third parties (such as YouTube) may receive your IP address.

Analytics and advertising on this website

Only if you accept cookies in the banner, we use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful and the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. If you decline, neither is loaded.

How long we keep it

Enquiries: up to 2 years. Client and invoice records: as long as tax law requires (usually 8 years in India).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Email hussain@omebly.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use HTTPS, access controls and backups to protect data. No system is perfectly secure; we will tell you and the authorities about a breach as the law requires.

Children

Our services are not aimed at children under 18. Course students under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent.

Grievance Officer

Nazmul Hussain, +91 84150 44306, hussain@omebly.com. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
