About Repair PDF
This tool fixes a damaged PDF that won't open, shows errors, or was cut off during download. It checks and rebuilds the file's structure using the qpdf engine. It is a free way to repair PDF online, with no sign-up and no watermark.
It fixes broken cross-reference tables, bad object offsets and damaged streams. Only the internal structure changes, so your text, images and layout stay the same. The repaired file is reopened and tested before you download it. Pages in parts of the file that are missing, such as after a download stopped halfway, can't be brought back.
It suits anyone stuck with a file that suddenly won't open. For example, a student whose thesis PDF shows an error after copying it from a USB stick can rebuild it and open it again. The repair runs in your browser, and the file is never uploaded.
How to use Repair PDF

- Click Repair PDF. The tool checks and rebuilds the file's structure.
